The Marvel Guardians Universe
Up to this point the Marvel core universe timeline is identical to the Guardian's one.
1985 AD - Luther Manning's body torn apart during an army training exercise. Roxxon acquires his body and places it in stasis.
1988 AD - Major Vance Astro volunteers for Project Starjump under the United States' NASA program. Astro is required to wear a special body suit that will preserve his body during the journey. Astro is placed into suspended animation and sent on a millenium-long journey to the planet Centauri IV. Warfare begins to cover the Earth.
1990 AD - Start of the Bionics war. Manning is reanimated as the cyborg Deathlok.
1991 AD - Deathlok rebels and deserts the army. Later he meets Godwulf.
1993 AD - Godwulf sends Deathlok back in time to escape Roxxon. However Deathlok winds up in the Marvel core universe. He is captured and subjugated by Roxxon. Eventually he is freed by Captain America who travels with him to his world and helps Deathlok liberate it. Captain America then returns to his world and disrupts Roxxon's plans preventing the Deathlok future.
1995 AD - First Confederation of Nations established after a nuclear disaster in Western Canada.
1999 AD - Mutant hysteria reaches a peak, causing governments to send an army of Sentinels to exterminate all mutants. Magneto gathers the remaining mutants and leads them to Jupiter's moon Europa, where they establish a colony. The tyrant Apocalypse pursues the mutants, and he and Magneto destroy each other in battle. Jonathan Raven is born. Deathlok travels back to the Marvel core universe and remains there permanently.
2001 AD - Martian forces lay a massive assault on Earth, laying waste to its nations' weapons stockpiles and killing most superhumans. Many other superhumans flee Earth.
2006 AD - Jonathan Raven is captured by Martians in New York city. He is trained as a gladiator for Martian entertainment over the next several years and becomes known as Killraven.
2014 AD - Killraven escapes and joins in the decades-long rebellion against the Martians.
2075 AD - Bubonicus visits Mars infecting it with a plague killing all Martians except for Ripjak.
Having fully mastered his psychic powers Killraven takes control of all the Martians on earth and makes them kill each other. The Martians who were still in orbit abandon Earth.
2553 AD - Second World Confederation established.
2940 AD - Earth sends its first interstellar voyage to Centauri IV and establishes a colony there.
2976 AD - Charlie-27 is born on Jupiter and Martinex T'Naga is born on Pluto.
2977 AD - Michael Korvac is born on Earth.
2985 AD - Yondu Undonta, a Centaurian, is born on Centauri IV.
2999 AD - Nicholette Gold is born on Mercury.
3006 AD - Major Vance Astro arrives at Centauri IV and awakens from suspended animation. He is horrified to discover that humans arrived there sixty years before him and regrets losing his past. On Centauri, Astro encounters Yondu Undonta, and the two become companions.
3007 AD - The alien Badoon launch a devastating attack against Earth and its colonies. Vance Astro and Yondu are captured by the Badoon and shipped to Earth. The two escape and encounter Martinex and Charlie-27. The four unite in rebellion against the Badoon as the Guardians of the Galaxy, inspired by the heroic teams of the 20th century. The Guardians escape to Jupiter's moon Europa and discover a city built by the mutant Magneto who led a group of mutants in exile from Earth in the late 20th century. Vance Astro discovers a suit of silver and black alloy to protect his bodysuit. The Guardians construct their first starship, the Captain America. The Guardians begin their long war for the liberation of Earth from the Badoon.
Michael Korvac offers his services to the Badoon as a computer technician. After collapsing at work, the Badoon punish him by severing his lower body and grafting him to a hovering module. Korvac kills his masters and escapes, stealing the Badoon's knowledge. Korvac sets his sights on intergalactic conquest, but is opposed by the 20th Century's Defenders, and later by the Guardians of the Galaxy.
3014 AD - The Guardians of the Galaxy travel back in time to the 20th century to recruit the Defenders in their war against the Badoon. The two teams are successful in overcoming the invaders. Starhawk joins the team.
3016 AD - The Guardians of the Galaxy encounter Nicholette Gold. Calling herself "Nikki," she joins the team. Michael Korvac escapes into the 20th century. The Guardians of the Galaxy pursue him into the past, and ultimately defeat him there.
3020 AD - Astro briefly becomes Major Victory and loses the need for his containment suit. The Guardians travel back in time to perform a preemptive strike against the Badoon but they only succeed in making them aware of earth. Talon and Yellowjacket II join the team. The Galactic Guardians are formed.
In their final recorded adventure the Guardians travel again into the past to confront the Martian fleet before it reaches earth. They succeed in destroying the invasion force creating the divergent timeline but their ship is crippled and they remain trapped in the Marvel core universe.
